Zusammenfassung:	[Dt.:] Das Thak Archiv ist Teil des Digital Himalaya Projekts, das von der Abteilung Sozialanthropologie an der University of Cambridge ins Leben gerufen wurde. Das multimediale Archiv umfasst ethnographische Aufzeichnungen aus dem Gurung Dorf Thak in Zentralnepal, die seit 1969 von den Ethnologen Alan Macfarlane und Sarah Harrison gesammelt werden. Die Datenbank wird beständig mit umfangreichem Material gefüttert: Zensusdaten, allgemeine wirtschaftliche und gesellschaftliche Daten, über 3000 Fotografien und mehr als hundert Filme. - [Engl.:] The Thak Archive is part of the Digital Himalaya Project under the aegis of the Department of Social Anthropologie, University of Cambridge. The social anthropologists Alan Macfarlane and Sarah Harrison provide a multimedia database of ethnographic records collected from 1969 to the present in the Gurung village of Thak, located in central Nepal. Census data, as well as general economic and social data collected at regular intervals over the entire 30-year period are included in the collection, along with 3000+ photographs and over a hundred hours of film.
