Zusammenfassung:	[Dt.:] Die Pierpont Morgan Library in New York hält eine bedeutende Sammlung an illuminierten Manuskripten des Mittelalters und der Renaissance. Die Datensätze enthalten eine Beschreibung, eine detaillierte Katalogaufnahme und eine (mittelgroße) Illustration der Miniatur. Die 'Bilddatenbank' ist Teil des übergeordneten Online-Katalogs der Pierpont Morgan Library, CORSAIR. Dieser bietet die Funktionen der einfachen und erweiterten Suche, die jeweils auf bestimmte Sammlungen eingeschränkt werden können. Insgesamt sind bislang 65 Manuskripte und ca. 7.730 Bilder erfasst; die Sammlung wird ausgebaut. Das Projekt ist eine Kooperation zwischen der Pierpont Morgan Library und dem Index of Christian Art der Princeton University. - [Engl.:] The Images from Medieval and Renaissance Manuscripts project makes thousands of digital images from the Morgan Library's collections accessible through its online catalog, CORSAIR. The images and accompanying descriptions are the product of the collaboration between the Morgan and the Index of Christian Art to photograph, digitize, and describe all significant illustrations within the Morgan's medieval and Renaissance manuscripts. CORSAIR currently includes 65 manuscripts, c. 3,740 page records and c. 7,730 images, and the number is constantly growing.
