At the core of these struggles lies the quest for a new institutional relationship between territory, the state and ethnic groups. Both regions share a similar historical and institutional legacy which must be regarded as having paved the ground for a rise in ethno-nationalism. There is, as a result, wide potential for conflict in both regions. However, similar structural conditions do not always turn into violent conflicts. Rapid institutional change, as occuring in the former Yugoslavia and the former Soviet Union, can lead to new institutional arrangements on smaller scales - which may in turn provide stability in inter-group relations and border management. Therefore, it is of vital importance to the study of conflict analysis to identify what conditions foster new orders, and what factors, actors and institutions are necessary to create a stable equilibrium in intra- and inter-group conflicts. This book brings together a selection of case studies and theoretical approaches aimed at identifying the institutions which prevented or fostered escalation of conflict in the Caucasus and former Yugoslavia, and, will be of great benefit to students of these topics. lok: 37860933 3 exp: 37860933 3 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:44:10.844 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0772013403 208@/01 $a26-04-16 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/31361 $XH lok: 37860933 5 exp: 37860933 5 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:44:10.853 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0772013411 208@/01 $a26-04-16 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/31361 $XH lok: 37860933 8 exp: 37860933 8 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:44:10.861 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $077201342X 208@/01 $a26-04-16 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/31361 $XH lok: 37860933 10 exp: 37860933 10 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:44:10.868 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0772013438 208@/01 $a26-04-16 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/31361 $XH lok: 37860933 11 exp: 37860933 11 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:44:10.874 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0772013446 208@/01 $a26-04-16 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/31361 $XH lok: 37860933 20 exp: 37860933 20 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:44:10.880 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0772013462 208@/01 $a26-04-16 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/31361 $XH lok: 37860933 21 exp: 37860933 21 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:44:10.886 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0772013470 208@/01 $a26-04-16 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/31361 $XH lok: 37860933 23 exp: 37860933 23 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:44:10.891 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0772013489 208@/01 $a26-04-16 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/31361 $XH lok: 37860933 24 exp: 37860933 24 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:44:10.896 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0772013497 208@/01 $a26-04-16 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/31361 $XH lok: 37860933 25 exp: 37860933 25 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:44:10.902 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0772013500 208@/01 $a26-04-16 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/31361 $XH lok: 37860933 36 exp: 37860933 36 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:44:10.963 201C/01 $014-01-22 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01176837370 208@/01 $a14-01-22 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/31361 $XH lok: 37860933 49 exp: 37860933 49 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:44:10.910 201C/01 $024-04-20 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01102259578 208@/01 $a24-04-20 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/31361 $XH lok: 37860933 54 exp: 37860933 54 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:44:10.923 201C/01 $024-04-20 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01102259586 208@/01 $a24-04-20 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/31361 $XH lok: 37860933 107 exp: 37860933 107 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:44:10.936 201C/01 $024-04-20 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01102259594 208@/01 $a24-04-20 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/31361 $XH lok: 37860933 108 exp: 37860933 108 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:44:10.945 201C/01 $024-04-20 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01102259608 208@/01 $a24-04-20 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/31361 $XH lok: 37860933 204 exp: 37860933 204 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:44:10.951 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0772013543 208@/01 $a26-04-16 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/31361 $XH lok: 37860933 205 exp: 37860933 205 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:44:10.957 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0772013551 208@/01 $a26-04-16 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/31361 $XH
