047I $aSwitzerland likely has the most particular naturalization system in the world. Whereas in most countries citizenship attribution is regulated at the central level of the state, in Switzerland each municipality is accorded the right to decide who can become a Swiss citizen. This book aims at exploring naturalization processes from a comparative perspective and to explain why some municipalities pursue more restrictive citizenship policies than others. The Swiss case provides a unique opportunity to approach citizenship politics from new perspectives. It allows us to go beyond formal citizenship models and to account for the practice of citizenship. The analytical framework combines quantitative and qualitative data and helps us understand how negotiation processes between political actors lead to a large variety of local citizenship models. An innovative theoretical framework, integrating Bourdieu's political sociology, combines symbolic and material aspects of naturalizations and underlines the production processes of ethnicity.

Het Zwitserse voorbeeld geeft een unieke mogelijkheid om voorbij de formele staatsburgerschapmodellen te kijken. lok: 37860978 3 101B $030-01-17 $t15:12:44.000 101C $030-01-17 101U $0utf8 145S/01 $a007 exp: 37860978 3 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:40:47.041 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0772020604 208@/01 $a26-04-16 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/26507 $XH lok: 37860978 5 exp: 37860978 5 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:40:47.082 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0772020612 208@/01 $a26-04-16 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/26507 $XH lok: 37860978 8 exp: 37860978 8 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:40:47.090 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0772020620 208@/01 $a26-04-16 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/26507 $XH lok: 37860978 10 exp: 37860978 10 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:40:47.095 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0772020639 208@/01 $a26-04-16 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/26507 $XH lok: 37860978 11 exp: 37860978 11 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:40:47.101 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0772020647 208@/01 $a26-04-16 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/26507 $XH lok: 37860978 20 exp: 37860978 20 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:40:47.107 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0772020663 208@/01 $a26-04-16 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/26507 $XH lok: 37860978 21 exp: 37860978 21 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:40:47.112 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0772020671 208@/01 $a26-04-16 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/26507 $XH lok: 37860978 23 exp: 37860978 23 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:40:47.119 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $077202068X 208@/01 $a26-04-16 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/26507 $XH lok: 37860978 24 exp: 37860978 24 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:40:47.125 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0772020698 208@/01 $a26-04-16 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/26507 $XH lok: 37860978 25 exp: 37860978 25 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:40:47.131 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0772020701 208@/01 $a26-04-16 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/26507 $XH lok: 37860978 36 exp: 37860978 36 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:40:47.186 201C/01 $014-01-22 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01176817809 208@/01 $a14-01-22 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/26507 $XH lok: 37860978 49 exp: 37860978 49 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:40:47.137 201C/01 $024-04-20 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0110226136X 208@/01 $a24-04-20 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/26507 $XH lok: 37860978 54 exp: 37860978 54 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:40:47.148 201C/01 $024-04-20 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01102261378 208@/01 $a24-04-20 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/26507 $XH lok: 37860978 107 exp: 37860978 107 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:40:47.161 201C/01 $024-04-20 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01102261386 208@/01 $a24-04-20 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/26507 $XH lok: 37860978 108 exp: 37860978 108 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:40:47.167 201C/01 $024-04-20 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01102261394 208@/01 $a24-04-20 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/26507 $XH lok: 37860978 204 exp: 37860978 204 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:40:47.174 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0772020744 208@/01 $a26-04-16 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/26507 $XH lok: 37860978 205 exp: 37860978 205 1 #EPN 201B/01 $014-01-22 $t22:40:47.180 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0772020752 208@/01 $a26-04-16 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/26507 $XH
