The Young Victims of the Nazi Regime is a significant attempt to represent the diversity of their experiences, covering a range of non-European perspectives on the Second World War and aspects of memory. The book is unique in that it places the experiences of children and youth in a transnational context, shifting the conversation of displacement and refuge to countries that have remained under-examined in a comparative context. Featuring essays from a wide range of international experts in the field, it analyses these themes in three sections: the flight and migration of children and youth to countries including England, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Kenya, and Brazil; the experiences of children and youth who remained in Nazi Europe and became victims of war, displacement and deportation; and finally the challenges of rebuilding lives and representing war traumas in the immediate and recent post-war periods respectively. In its comparisons between Jewish and non-Jewish experiences and how these intersected and diverged, it revisits debates about cultural genocide through the separation of families and communities, as well as contributing new perspectives on forced labour, families and the Holocaust, and Germans as war victims"--(Provided by publisher.) 047I $aZusammenfassung: "A multi-authored work examining the experiences of children and youth whose lives were affected by the policies of the Nazi regime"--(Provided by publisher.) lok: 37896324 25 101B $013-07-17 $t14:04:43.000 101C $013-07-17 101U $0utf8 145S/01 $a540zb exp: 37896324 25 1 #EPN 201B/01 $007-08-17 $t13:21:32.000 201C/01 $013-07-17 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01004364679 208@/01 $a07-08-17 $bzu 209A/01 $a281.578 $du $f000 $x00 209G/01 $a17541388 $x00 209G/01 $aFREIHAND $x01 247C/01 $8651000-0 <77>Mainz, Universität Mainz, Zentralbibliothek $9102599602 lok: 37896324 78 exp: 37896324 78 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-23 $t12:27:17.000 201C/01 $029-06-23 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01238520804 208@/01 $a29-06-23 $be 209A/01 $a/ $f000 $x00 209A/01 $ab*p $x01 220C/01 $apgar 244Z/01 $#Generalgouvernement Polen $#Polska $#Rzeczpospolita Polska $#Polska Rzeczpospolita Ludowa $#Poland $#Pologne $#République Polonaise $#Generalne Gubernatorstwo w Polsce $#Polish People's Republic $#Polska Rzeczpospolita Polen $#PRL $#RP $#Polen Generalgouvernement $#Polska Generalgouvernement $#Besetzte Polnische Gebiete $#Besetztes Gebiet in Polen $#Okupowane Polskie Obszary $#Obszary Okupowane w Polsce $#Volksrepublik Polen $#Polska Rosyjska $#Republic Polen $#Respublika Pol'ša $#Pol'skaja Narodnaja Respublika $#République de Pologne $#Polen Links der Weichsel $#Polska po Lewej Stronie Wisły $#Lenkija $#Polija $#Gubernija Carstva Pol'skago $#Republik Polen $74046496-9 $8--Tg1--Polen $x01 $9085129801 247C/01 $82080>Marburg/Lahn, Herder-Institut, Forschungsbibliothek, Bibliographieportal $9336309341 lok: 37896324 106 101B $012-09-18 $t20:39:31.000 101C $012-09-18 101U $0utf8 145Z/01 $aJudenverfolgung/Jüdische Emigration/Aufsatzsammlungen exp: 37896324 106 1 #EPN 201B/01 $012-09-18 $t20:39:31.000 201C/01 $012-09-18 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01029796084 208@/01 $a10-09-18 $br 209A/01 $aG 03 s 12 $ds $f000 $hG 03 s 0012 $x00 209C/01 $a13471 247C/01 $82508>Frankfurt/M., Bibliothek des Fritz Bauer Instituts zur Geschichte und Wirkung des Holocaust $9403831741
