tamizdat (publishing abroad). This volume offers a new understanding of how information flowed between East and West during the Cold War, as well as the much broader circulation of cultural products instigated and sustained by these practices. By expanding the definitions of samizdat and tamizdat from explicitly political print publications to include other forms and genres, this volume investigates the wider cultural sphere of alternative and semi-official texts, broadcast media, reproductions of visual art and music, and, in the post-1989 period, new media. The underground circulation of uncensored texts in the Cold War era serves as a useful foundation for comparison when looking at current examples of censorship, independent media, and the use of new media in countries like China, Iran, and the former Yugoslavia. lok: 40391123 24 exp: 40391123 24 1 #EPN 201B/01 $002-06-17 $t09:08:56.000 201C/01 $001-06-17 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01000136167 208@/01 $a02-06-17 $bz 209A/01 $a17.02704 $du $f050 $h17 02704 $x00 209C/01 $a17.02704 K $h17 02704 K 209G/01 $a73743117 $x00 220C/01 $ahae 247C/01 $8358050-7Marburg, Bibliothek des Herder-Instituts Marburg $9102600961 lok: 40391123 25 exp: 40391123 25 1 #EPN 201B/01 $015-01-19 $t15:56:14.000 201C/01 $013-11-18 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01034373110 208@/01 $a20-12-18 $bzis 209A/01 $aBib 4900 $dd $f092 $x00 209A/01 $aFB 16.6 Bib 4900 $x01 209A/01 $aRVK NQ 8273 $x06 209C/01 $a18/1020-2 Osteuropäische Geschichte 209G/01 $a77480449 $x00 209G/01 $aOsteuropäische Geschichte $x01 247C/01 $8651092-9 <77/092>Mainz, Universität Mainz, Bereichsbibliothek Philosophicum, Standort Osteuropäische Geschichte $9102600414 lok: 40391123 78 exp: 40391123 78 1 #EPN 201B/01 $020-08-18 $t13:52:01.000 201C/01 $020-08-18 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01026469937 208@/01 $a20-08-18 $be 209A/01 $a/ $f000 $x00 209A/01 $ab*p $x01 209A/01 $aBeiträge s. 1.
