Around ninety percent of all goods are transported by ship, and since World War II, shipbuilding has undergone major changes in response to new commercial pressures and opportunities. Early British dominance, for example, was later undermined in the 1950s by competition from the Japanese, who have since been overtaken by South Korea and, most recently, China. The case studies in this volume trace these and other important developments in the shipbuilding and ship repair industries, as well as workers’ responses to these historic transformations. lok: 42142667 3 exp: 42142667 3 1 #EPN 201B/01 $004-06-25 $t00:58:41.777 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01011890895 208@/01 $a22-11-17 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/31724 $XR lok: 42142667 5 exp: 42142667 5 1 #EPN 201B/01 $004-06-25 $t00:58:41.782 201C/01 $011-02-22 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01182569544 208@/01 $a11-02-22 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/31724 $XR lok: 42142667 8 exp: 42142667 8 1 #EPN 201B/01 $004-06-25 $t00:58:41.786 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01011890909 208@/01 $a22-11-17 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/31724 $XR lok: 42142667 10 exp: 42142667 10 1 #EPN 201B/01 $004-06-25 $t00:58:41.791 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01011890917 208@/01 $a22-11-17 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/31724 $XR lok: 42142667 21 exp: 42142667 21 1 #EPN 201B/01 $004-06-25 $t00:58:41.851 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01011890933 208@/01 $a22-11-17 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/31724 $XR lok: 42142667 23 exp: 42142667 23 1 #EPN 201B/01 $004-06-25 $t00:58:41.855 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01011890941 208@/01 $a22-11-17 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/31724 $XR lok: 42142667 25 exp: 42142667 25 1 #EPN 201B/01 $004-06-25 $t00:58:41.858 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0101189095X 208@/01 $a22-11-17 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/31724 $XR lok: 42142667 78 exp: 42142667 78 1 #EPN 201B/01 $008-02-21 $t22:13:12.000 201C/01 $008-02-21 203@/01 $01140217461 208@/01 $a08-02-21 $bdo 201U/01 $0utf8 lok: 42142667 204 exp: 42142667 204 1 #EPN 201B/01 $004-06-25 $t00:58:41.862 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01011890968 208@/01 $a22-11-17 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/31724 $XR lok: 42142667 205 exp: 42142667 205 1 #EPN 201B/01 $004-06-25 $t00:58:41.870 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01011890976 208@/01 $a22-11-17 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/31724 $XR
