047I    $aThe amount of suitable subcorpora for the creation of optimal corpora for my activities of research is small, because several criteria have to correspond with each other at the same time: high quality of language and syntax, - exact translation of the original, - discovery of unknown differences in word order. The amount of suitable literature in the original language is higher than the amount of suitable translations: In some translations there are constantly missing passages or the translation was done inaccurately, where the statement of the sentence and not the word order was in the foreground. Take as an example the book Homo faber by Max Frisch, translated by Helena Nebelova. There are eligible novels and theater pieces, too, that weren't translated. The creation of a suitable corpus for my research took a lot of time. I had to examine lots of novels and theater pieces for my definite corpus. Most of the word order differences between German and Czech language, which exist in the professional translations of German and Czech fiction and which weren't publishedin the scholarly syntax-literature yet, I found in the following pieces of literature: Jelinek, Elfriede: Die Klavierspielerin and its translation Pianistka translated by Jílková, Jitka; Kohout, Pavel: Nápady svaté Kláry and its translation Die Einfälle der heiligen Klara translated by Baumrucker, Alexandra; Lhotová, Dagmar: Cesta k Betlému and its translation Der Weg nach Betlehem translated by Lhotová, Dagmar and in the play Kohout. Pavel: August August, August. Cirkusové představení s jednou pauzou and in the play August August, August translated by Taubová, Lucie.
