Its aim is to show that the Tea Party is a genuine right-wing movement with strong affinities to the Republican Party which revives particular American traditions of conservatism and the radical right. Its support base is not 'the mainstream' but a particular cross section of the white middle classes. In this, it is the American mirror image of many European parties and movements of the populist radical right which share the Tea Party’s anti-establishment message, its ultra-patriotism and ethnocentrism. It also shares some of its characteristics with the Christian Right with which it competes and cooperates when aiming at influencing the Republican Party and Washington while marking the merger of the Christian Right with Southern conservatism lok: 44952158 3 exp: 44952158 3 1 #EPN 201B/01 $024-02-21 $t23:00:14.585 201C/01 $024-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01143636503 208@/01 $a24-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/61019 $XH lok: 44952158 5 exp: 44952158 5 1 #EPN 201B/01 $024-02-21 $t23:00:14.592 201C/01 $024-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01143636511 208@/01 $a24-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/61019 $XH lok: 44952158 8 exp: 44952158 8 1 #EPN 201B/01 $024-02-21 $t23:00:14.598 201C/01 $024-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0114363652X 208@/01 $a24-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/61019 $XH lok: 44952158 10 exp: 44952158 10 1 #EPN 201B/01 $024-02-21 $t23:00:14.604 201C/01 $024-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01143636538 208@/01 $a24-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/61019 $XH lok: 44952158 11 exp: 44952158 11 1 #EPN 201B/01 $024-02-21 $t23:00:14.611 201C/01 $024-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01143636546 208@/01 $a24-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/61019 $XH lok: 44952158 20 exp: 44952158 20 1 #EPN 201B/01 $024-02-21 $t23:00:14.618 201C/01 $024-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01143636554 208@/01 $a24-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/61019 $XH lok: 44952158 21 exp: 44952158 21 1 #EPN 201B/01 $024-02-21 $t23:00:14.626 201C/01 $024-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01143636562 208@/01 $a24-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/61019 $XH lok: 44952158 23 exp: 44952158 23 1 #EPN 201B/01 $024-02-21 $t23:00:14.632 201C/01 $024-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01143636570 208@/01 $a24-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/61019 $XH lok: 44952158 24 exp: 44952158 24 1 #EPN 201B/01 $024-02-21 $t23:00:14.639 201C/01 $024-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01143636589 208@/01 $a24-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/61019 $XH lok: 44952158 25 exp: 44952158 25 1 #EPN 201B/01 $024-02-21 $t23:00:14.645 201C/01 $024-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01143636597 208@/01 $a24-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/61019 $XH lok: 44952158 36 exp: 44952158 36 1 #EPN 201B/01 $001-06-25 $t08:08:38.354 201C/01 $001-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01305051823 208@/01 $a01-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/61019 $XH lok: 44952158 49 exp: 44952158 49 1 #EPN 201B/01 $024-02-21 $t23:00:14.651 201C/01 $024-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01143636600 208@/01 $a24-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/61019 $XH lok: 44952158 54 exp: 44952158 54 1 #EPN 201B/01 $024-02-21 $t23:00:14.664 201C/01 $024-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01143636627 208@/01 $a24-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/61019 $XH lok: 44952158 108 exp: 44952158 108 1 #EPN 201B/01 $024-02-21 $t23:00:14.687 201C/01 $024-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01143636643 208@/01 $a24-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/61019 $XH lok: 44952158 204 exp: 44952158 204 1 #EPN 201B/01 $024-02-21 $t23:00:14.694 201C/01 $024-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01143636651 208@/01 $a24-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/61019 $XH lok: 44952158 205 exp: 44952158 205 1 #EPN 201B/01 $024-02-21 $t23:00:14.701 201C/01 $024-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0114363666X 208@/01 $a24-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/61019 $XH
