Within this period and zone, which forms the southern part of the Carpathian basin, clay was the fundamental and most abundant building block of material culture, architecture, everyday life and cult practices. Clay walls, furniture, ten thousands of vessels, hundreds of clay figurines and other cult objects accumulated as huge piles of clay debris in every settlement. Traditional system of subsistence patterns ceased to fully function when these first farmers occupied cool and wet hilly forested landscapes: the environmental and cognitive challenges gradually led to the decline of this clay-centred orbit. At the same time, these changes gave birth to a no-less stunning world constructed more of timber and stones, with transformations in subsistence, material culture and rituals. This transition is inextricably bound up with the formation of the first farmers' communities of Central Europe, the Bandkeramik (LBK) lok: 45022471 25 exp: 45022471 25 1 #EPN 201B/01 $028-06-19 $t11:15:29.000 201C/01 $028-06-19 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01054402876 208@/01 $a28-06-19 $bzkl 209A/01 $aEb - Banf 1 $dd $f085 $x00 209A/01 $aFB 16.1 Eb-Banf 1 $x01 209C/01 $a28193-19/182 Vor- und Frühgeschichte 209G/01 $aVor- und frühgeschichtliche Archäologie $x01 247C/01 $8651085-1 <77/085>Mainz, Universität Mainz, Fachbereich 07, Geschichts- und Kulturwissenschaften, Institut für Altertumswissenschaften - Vor- und Frühgeschichtliche Archäologie $9102600341 lok: 45022471 78 exp: 45022471 78 1 #EPN 201B/01 $010-07-24 $t14:12:48.000 201C/01 $010-07-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01266638539 208@/01 $a10-07-24 $be 209A/01 $a/ $f000 $x00 209A/01 $ab*p $x01 220C/01 $apgar 244Z/01 $#Ungarn $#Ungarn $#Ungarische Räterepublik $#Königreich Ungarn $#Die @Länder der ungarischen Krone $#Transleithanien $#Magyarország $#Magyar Köztársaság $#Magyar Tanácsköztársaság $#Government of the Hungarian Republic $#Zemalja Ugarske Krune $#VNR $#Ungern $#Ungarische Republik $#Republik Ungarn $#Ungarische Volksrepublik $#Volksrepublik Ungarn $#Magyar Népköztársaság $#Hungary $#Hungarian Republic $#Hongrie $#Vengerskaja Narodnaja Respublika $#Hungarian People's Republic $#HPR Hungarian People's Republic $#République Populaire Hongroise $#Ungarische VR $#Republic of Hungary $#Vengrija $74078541-5 $8--Tgz--Ungarn $x08 $9085222712 247C/01 $82080>Marburg/Lahn, Herder-Institut, Forschungsbibliothek, Bibliographieportal $9336309341
