Footing on a framework suggested by Scott's definition of infrapolitics (2012), we propose to incorporate informal practices in a definition of informality that is more inclusive and better explains the anatomy of a modern state, whose functioning rests on a combination of formal and informal practices. We suggest that this everyday dimension is of particular importance here when trying to understand the governance trajectories, as it allows to look critically, and from a broader perspective, at situations where individual and state perception of events, but also individual and state morality, diverge. By doing this, we propose that governance in transition states and societies may be regarded as a space where formal institutions and citizens (or informal institutions) lok: 45048484 3 exp: 45048484 3 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:10:33.339 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142127206 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/62606 $XH lok: 45048484 5 exp: 45048484 5 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:10:33.347 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142127214 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/62606 $XH lok: 45048484 8 exp: 45048484 8 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:10:33.353 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142127222 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/62606 $XH lok: 45048484 10 exp: 45048484 10 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:10:33.360 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142127230 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/62606 $XH lok: 45048484 11 exp: 45048484 11 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:10:33.366 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142127249 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/62606 $XH lok: 45048484 20 exp: 45048484 20 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:10:33.373 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142127257 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/62606 $XH lok: 45048484 21 exp: 45048484 21 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:10:33.380 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142127265 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/62606 $XH lok: 45048484 23 exp: 45048484 23 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:10:33.387 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142127273 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/62606 $XH lok: 45048484 24 exp: 45048484 24 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:10:33.396 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142127281 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/62606 $XH lok: 45048484 25 exp: 45048484 25 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:10:33.402 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0114212729X 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/62606 $XH lok: 45048484 36 exp: 45048484 36 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-05-25 $t02:10:00.452 201C/01 $029-05-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01304988856 208@/01 $a29-05-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/62606 $XH lok: 45048484 49 exp: 45048484 49 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:10:33.409 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142127303 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/62606 $XH lok: 45048484 54 exp: 45048484 54 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:10:33.425 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0114212732X 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/62606 $XH lok: 45048484 108 exp: 45048484 108 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:10:33.440 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142127346 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/62606 $XH lok: 45048484 204 exp: 45048484 204 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:10:33.446 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142127354 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/62606 $XH lok: 45048484 205 exp: 45048484 205 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:10:33.453 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142127362 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/62606 $XH
