The first two sections investigate the evolution of the world order starting from the ancient times up to the late twentieth century. The third section analyzes the origin and decline of the world order based on the American hegemony. The authors reveal contradictions of the current unipolar world and explain in what way globalization has become more profitable for the developing countries but not for the developed ones. The paper also explains the strengthening belief that the US leading status will inevitably weaken. In this connection we discuss the alternatives of the American strategy and the possibility of the renaissance of the American leadership. The last section presents a factor analysis which allows stating that the world is shifting toward a new balance of power lok: 45185420 3 exp: 45185420 3 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:12:33.371 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142242838 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/57730 $XH lok: 45185420 5 exp: 45185420 5 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:12:33.379 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142242846 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/57730 $XH lok: 45185420 8 exp: 45185420 8 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:12:33.386 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142242854 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/57730 $XH lok: 45185420 10 exp: 45185420 10 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:12:33.393 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142242862 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/57730 $XH lok: 45185420 11 exp: 45185420 11 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:12:33.401 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142242870 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/57730 $XH lok: 45185420 20 exp: 45185420 20 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:12:33.408 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142242889 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/57730 $XH lok: 45185420 21 exp: 45185420 21 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:12:33.415 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142242897 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/57730 $XH lok: 45185420 23 exp: 45185420 23 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:12:33.422 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142242900 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/57730 $XH lok: 45185420 24 exp: 45185420 24 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:12:33.431 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142242919 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/57730 $XH lok: 45185420 25 exp: 45185420 25 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:12:33.438 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142242927 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/57730 $XH lok: 45185420 36 exp: 45185420 36 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-05-25 $t02:32:39.716 201C/01 $029-05-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01304994708 208@/01 $a29-05-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/57730 $XH lok: 45185420 49 exp: 45185420 49 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:12:33.444 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142242935 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/57730 $XH lok: 45185420 54 exp: 45185420 54 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:12:33.460 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142242951 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/57730 $XH lok: 45185420 108 exp: 45185420 108 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:12:33.474 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142242978 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/57730 $XH lok: 45185420 204 exp: 45185420 204 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:12:33.480 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142242986 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/57730 $XH lok: 45185420 205 exp: 45185420 205 1 #EPN 201B/01 $018-02-21 $t23:12:33.487 201C/01 $018-02-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01142242994 208@/01 $a18-02-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.ssoar.info/ssoar/handle/document/57730 $XH
