This book studies the ways in which segregated city spaces, displacement of people from their homes, and criminalization practices are structured and executed. Sara Dehkordi shows that these doctrines are being legitimized and legalized as part of a discursive practice and that the criminalization of lower-class members are part of that practice, not as random policing techniques of individual security forces, but as a technology of power that attends to the body, zooms in on it, screens it, and interrogates it. - Biographical note: Sara Dehkordi is a lecturer at the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the Freie Universität Berlin. She teaches postcolonial and decolonial theories, on colonial genocide, the Negritude and Black Consciousness Movement, neoliberal urbanism, and critical peace and conflict studies. For her study leading to this book she has received the German Tiburtius Prize for outstanding research. lok: 46357638 3 exp: 46357638 3 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-12-20 $t22:49:12.994 201C/01 $026-11-20 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01131345312 208@/01 $a26-11-20 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783839453100 $XH lok: 46357638 5 exp: 46357638 5 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-12-20 $t22:49:13.013 201C/01 $026-11-20 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01131345320 208@/01 $a26-11-20 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783839453100 $XH lok: 46357638 8 exp: 46357638 8 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-12-20 $t22:49:13.022 201C/01 $026-11-20 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01131345339 208@/01 $a26-11-20 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783839453100 $XH lok: 46357638 10 exp: 46357638 10 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-12-20 $t22:49:13.031 201C/01 $026-11-20 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01131345347 208@/01 $a26-11-20 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783839453100 $XH lok: 46357638 11 exp: 46357638 11 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-12-20 $t22:49:13.038 201C/01 $026-11-20 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01131345355 208@/01 $a26-11-20 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783839453100 $XH lok: 46357638 20 exp: 46357638 20 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-12-20 $t22:49:13.047 201C/01 $026-11-20 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01131345363 208@/01 $a26-11-20 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783839453100 $XH lok: 46357638 21 exp: 46357638 21 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-12-20 $t22:49:13.065 201C/01 $026-11-20 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01131345371 208@/01 $a26-11-20 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783839453100 $XH lok: 46357638 23 exp: 46357638 23 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-12-20 $t22:49:13.073 201C/01 $026-11-20 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0113134538X 208@/01 $a26-11-20 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783839453100 $XH lok: 46357638 24 exp: 46357638 24 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-12-20 $t22:49:13.079 201C/01 $026-11-20 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01131345398 208@/01 $a26-11-20 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783839453100 $XH lok: 46357638 25 exp: 46357638 25 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-12-20 $t22:49:13.087 201C/01 $026-11-20 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01131345401 208@/01 $a26-11-20 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783839453100 $XH lok: 46357638 36 exp: 46357638 36 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-21 $t22:48:44.059 201C/01 $029-06-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01159780730 208@/01 $a29-06-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783839453100 $XH lok: 46357638 49 exp: 46357638 49 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-12-20 $t22:49:13.093 201C/01 $026-11-20 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0113134541X 208@/01 $a26-11-20 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783839453100 $XH lok: 46357638 50 exp: 46357638 50 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-12-20 $t22:49:13.099 201C/01 $026-11-20 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01131345428 208@/01 $a26-11-20 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783839453100 $XH lok: 46357638 54 exp: 46357638 54 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-12-20 $t22:49:13.105 201C/01 $026-11-20 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01131345436 208@/01 $a26-11-20 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783839453100 $XH lok: 46357638 58 exp: 46357638 58 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-12-20 $t22:49:13.113 201C/01 $026-11-20 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01131345444 208@/01 $a26-11-20 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783839453100 $XH lok: 46357638 108 exp: 46357638 108 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-12-20 $t22:49:13.119 201C/01 $026-11-20 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01131345452 208@/01 $a26-11-20 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783839453100 $XH lok: 46357638 204 exp: 46357638 204 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-12-20 $t22:49:13.126 201C/01 $026-11-20 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01131345460 208@/01 $a26-11-20 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783839453100 $XH lok: 46357638 205 exp: 46357638 205 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-12-20 $t22:49:13.132 201C/01 $026-11-20 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01131345479 208@/01 $a26-11-20 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783839453100 $XH
