Specifically, it analyzes the role of Ibero-American mediators in the institutionalization of Hispanic and Lusophone cultures in the first half of the 20th century by means of two institutional networks: PEN (the non-governmental writer’s association) and the International Institute of Intellectual Cooperation (predecessor to UNESCO). Attempting to combine cultural and global history, sociology, and literary studies, the book uses an analytical focus on intercultural networks and cultural transfer to investigate the multiple activities and roles that these mediators and cultural organizations set in motion. Literature has traditionally studied major figures and important centers of cultural production, but other regions and localities also played a crucial role in the development of intellectual cooperation. This book reappraises the place of Ibero-America in international cultural relations and retrieves the lost history of key secondary actors. The book will appeal to scholars from international relations, global and cultural history, sociology, postcolonial Studies, world and comparative literature, and New Hispanisms. lok: 48313343 3 exp: 48313343 3 1 #EPN 201B/01 $004-08-21 $t23:28:16.258 201C/01 $004-08-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01163143340 208@/01 $a04-08-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/47507 $XH lok: 48313343 5 exp: 48313343 5 1 #EPN 201B/01 $004-08-21 $t23:28:16.264 201C/01 $004-08-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01163143359 208@/01 $a04-08-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/47507 $XH lok: 48313343 8 exp: 48313343 8 1 #EPN 201B/01 $004-08-21 $t23:28:16.269 201C/01 $004-08-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01163143367 208@/01 $a04-08-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/47507 $XH lok: 48313343 10 exp: 48313343 10 1 #EPN 201B/01 $004-08-21 $t23:28:16.275 201C/01 $004-08-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01163143375 208@/01 $a04-08-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/47507 $XH lok: 48313343 11 exp: 48313343 11 1 #EPN 201B/01 $004-08-21 $t23:28:16.281 201C/01 $004-08-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01163143383 208@/01 $a04-08-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/47507 $XH lok: 48313343 13 exp: 48313343 13 1 #EPN 201B/01 $004-08-21 $t23:28:16.288 201C/01 $004-08-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01163143391 208@/01 $a04-08-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/47507 $XH lok: 48313343 21 exp: 48313343 21 1 #EPN 201B/01 $004-08-21 $t23:28:16.299 201C/01 $004-08-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01163143413 208@/01 $a04-08-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/47507 $XH lok: 48313343 23 exp: 48313343 23 1 #EPN 201B/01 $004-08-21 $t23:28:16.305 201C/01 $004-08-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01163143421 208@/01 $a04-08-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/47507 $XH lok: 48313343 24 exp: 48313343 24 1 #EPN 201B/01 $004-08-21 $t23:28:16.311 201C/01 $004-08-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0116314343X 208@/01 $a04-08-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/47507 $XH lok: 48313343 25 exp: 48313343 25 1 #EPN 201B/01 $004-08-21 $t23:28:16.317 201C/01 $004-08-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01163143448 208@/01 $a04-08-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/47507 $XH lok: 48313343 36 exp: 48313343 36 1 #EPN 201B/01 $004-08-21 $t23:28:16.322 201C/01 $004-08-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01163143456 208@/01 $a04-08-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/47507 $XH lok: 48313343 51 exp: 48313343 51 1 #EPN 201B/01 $004-08-21 $t23:28:16.334 201C/01 $004-08-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01163143472 208@/01 $a04-08-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/47507 $XH lok: 48313343 59 exp: 48313343 59 1 #EPN 201B/01 $004-08-21 $t23:28:16.346 201C/01 $004-08-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01163143499 208@/01 $a04-08-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/47507 $XH lok: 48313343 75 exp: 48313343 75 1 #EPN 201B/01 $004-08-21 $t23:28:16.358 201C/01 $004-08-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01163143510 208@/01 $a04-08-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/47507 $XH lok: 48313343 107 exp: 48313343 107 1 #EPN 201B/01 $004-08-21 $t23:28:16.364 201C/01 $004-08-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01163143529 208@/01 $a04-08-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/47507 $XH lok: 48313343 108 exp: 48313343 108 1 #EPN 201B/01 $004-08-21 $t23:28:16.369 201C/01 $004-08-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01163143537 208@/01 $a04-08-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/47507 $XH lok: 48313343 204 exp: 48313343 204 1 #EPN 201B/01 $004-08-21 $t23:28:16.376 201C/01 $004-08-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01163143545 208@/01 $a04-08-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/47507 $XH lok: 48313343 205 exp: 48313343 205 1 #EPN 201B/01 $004-08-21 $t23:28:16.382 201C/01 $004-08-21 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01163143553 208@/01 $a04-08-21 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/47507 $XH
