Zusammenfassung:	Tato diplomová práce se zabývá kulturní reflexí tuberkulózy v období 19. a první poloviny 20. století. Práce se snaží představit problematiku tuberkulózy z různých úhlů pohledu. Nastiňuje historický vývoj vědeckých poznatků o nemoci, věnuje se vědeckému diskurzu, zabývá se odrazem nemoci v české literární tvorbě. Rovněž je nemoc sledována v kontextu chudých vrstev obyvatelstva a jejich možnosti léčby. Prostudován je každodenní život v sanatoriu a osobní prožívání léčebny za použití ego-dokumentů. Pro úplnost tématu je z hlediska sociálních aspektů analyzována jedna konkrétní léčebna, a to Hamzova dětská léčebna This thesis deals with cultural reflection of tuberculosis in the 19th and first half of 20th century. The goal of this thesis is to introduce the main issues of tuberculosis from different angles. It outlines the historical development of scientific knowledge about the disease, dedicated to scientific discourse, dealing with the reflection of the disease in Czech literature. Also, the disease is monitored in the context of the poor segments of the population and their treatment options. Studying the daily life in a sanatorium and personal experience in sanatorium using ego-documents. For completeness of topic is analyzed one particular sanatorium the Hamza's children's sanatorium
