Politisch und strategisch wird entscheidend sein, die Frage zu beantworten, worin der Zweck einer solchen Konstellation bestehen soll. Geht es darum, eine politische Alternative zu schaffen und damit Europas Gestaltungsspielraum zu wahren, so muss dies trotz der Spannungen innerhalb Europas zeitnah geklärt werden.
