This volume is a selection of interdisciplinary papers that guide readers through Western Ukraine and Southeastern Poland from the 18th century to the present in traces of Galician heritage and historical and social upheavals. lt sets out to explore the question of what remains of the crown land that existed for almost 150 years and its multicultural living environment that was lost through processes of historical change as well as the adaptation of new perspectives on Galicia.
