Criticisms of dense neighbourhoods, overcrowded flats, unhealthy everyday life and the lack of green space in the city grew ever louder. Sweeping reform was demanded that affected urban planning and social and private existence. The vision of the garden city promised a comprehensive alternative to the European city of the past. As a result, new strongly uniform and attractive neighbourhoods emerged in both Swiss and German cities. Ideas of order and discipline, as well as visions of social justice and integration, found visible expression there. At the same time, however, public and motorized transport set in motion a dynamic that disrupted the traditional city fabric and ushered in a comprehensive separation of functions: agglomeration began to take shape. Using Zurich as an example, this book describes the twentieth-century changes to the city; it provides a compact description of social and legal conditions, theoretical positions and their practical implementation in urban planning. lok: 51432799 3 exp: 51432799 3 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-12-23 $t23:49:16.468 201C/01 $029-12-23 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01253013519 208@/01 $a29-12-23 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/101746 $XH lok: 51432799 5 exp: 51432799 5 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-12-23 $t23:49:16.471 201C/01 $029-12-23 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01253013527 208@/01 $a29-12-23 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/101746 $XH lok: 51432799 8 exp: 51432799 8 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-12-23 $t23:49:16.474 201C/01 $029-12-23 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01253013535 208@/01 $a29-12-23 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/101746 $XH lok: 51432799 10 exp: 51432799 10 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-12-23 $t23:49:16.476 201C/01 $029-12-23 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01253013543 208@/01 $a29-12-23 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/101746 $XH lok: 51432799 11 exp: 51432799 11 1 #EPN 201B/01 $031-12-23 $t22:45:42.588 201C/01 $031-12-23 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01253775109 208@/01 $a31-12-23 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/101746 $XH lok: 51432799 20 exp: 51432799 20 1 #EPN 201B/01 $031-12-23 $t22:45:42.591 201C/01 $031-12-23 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01253775117 208@/01 $a31-12-23 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/101746 $XH lok: 51432799 21 exp: 51432799 21 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-12-23 $t23:49:16.479 201C/01 $029-12-23 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01253013551 208@/01 $a29-12-23 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/101746 $XH lok: 51432799 23 exp: 51432799 23 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-12-23 $t23:49:16.481 201C/01 $029-12-23 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0125301356X 208@/01 $a29-12-23 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/101746 $XH lok: 51432799 24 exp: 51432799 24 1 #EPN 201B/01 $031-12-23 $t22:45:42.594 201C/01 $031-12-23 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01253775125 208@/01 $a31-12-23 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/101746 $XH lok: 51432799 25 exp: 51432799 25 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-12-23 $t23:49:16.483 201C/01 $029-12-23 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01253013578 208@/01 $a29-12-23 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/101746 $XH lok: 51432799 36 exp: 51432799 36 1 #EPN 201B/01 $031-12-23 $t22:45:42.597 201C/01 $031-12-23 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01253775133 208@/01 $a31-12-23 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/101746 $XH lok: 51432799 49 exp: 51432799 49 1 #EPN 201B/01 $031-12-23 $t22:45:42.600 201C/01 $031-12-23 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01253775141 208@/01 $a31-12-23 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/101746 $XH lok: 51432799 75 exp: 51432799 75 1 #EPN 201B/01 $031-12-23 $t22:45:42.603 201C/01 $031-12-23 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0125377515X 208@/01 $a31-12-23 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/101746 $XH lok: 51432799 76 exp: 51432799 76 1 #EPN 201B/01 $031-12-23 $t22:45:42.606 201C/01 $031-12-23 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01253775168 208@/01 $a31-12-23 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/101746 $XH lok: 51432799 107 exp: 51432799 107 1 #EPN 201B/01 $031-12-23 $t22:45:42.610 201C/01 $031-12-23 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01253775176 208@/01 $a31-12-23 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/101746 $XH lok: 51432799 108 exp: 51432799 108 1 #EPN 201B/01 $031-12-23 $t22:45:42.613 201C/01 $031-12-23 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01253775184 208@/01 $a31-12-23 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/101746 $XH lok: 51432799 204 exp: 51432799 204 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-12-23 $t23:49:16.486 201C/01 $029-12-23 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01253013586 208@/01 $a29-12-23 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/101746 $XH lok: 51432799 205 exp: 51432799 205 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-12-23 $t23:49:16.488 201C/01 $029-12-23 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01253013594 208@/01 $a29-12-23 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/101746 $XH
