By bringing together representations of the then already familiar Ottoman Empire and the largely unknown South Pacific, Sascha Klement adopts a uniquely global perspective and demonstrates how cross-cultural encounters were framed by Enlightenment philosophy, global interconnections, and even-handed exchanges across cultural divides. In so doing, this book shows that both travel and travel-writing from the seventeenth to the nineteenth centuries were much more complex and multi-layered than reductive Eurocentric histories often suggest. lok: 51652714 3 exp: 51652714 3 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-03-24 $t22:58:08.170 201C/01 $023-03-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01258692252 208@/01 $a23-03-24 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/135641 $XH lok: 51652714 5 exp: 51652714 5 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-03-24 $t22:58:08.175 201C/01 $023-03-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01258692260 208@/01 $a23-03-24 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/135641 $XH lok: 51652714 8 exp: 51652714 8 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-03-24 $t22:58:08.178 201C/01 $023-03-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01258692279 208@/01 $a23-03-24 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/135641 $XH lok: 51652714 10 exp: 51652714 10 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-03-24 $t22:58:08.181 201C/01 $023-03-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01258692287 208@/01 $a23-03-24 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/135641 $XH lok: 51652714 11 exp: 51652714 11 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-03-24 $t22:58:08.183 201C/01 $023-03-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01258692295 208@/01 $a23-03-24 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/135641 $XH lok: 51652714 21 exp: 51652714 21 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-03-24 $t22:58:08.186 201C/01 $023-03-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01258692309 208@/01 $a23-03-24 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/135641 $XH lok: 51652714 23 exp: 51652714 23 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-03-24 $t22:58:08.189 201C/01 $023-03-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01258692317 208@/01 $a23-03-24 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/135641 $XH lok: 51652714 24 exp: 51652714 24 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-03-24 $t22:58:08.191 201C/01 $023-03-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01258692325 208@/01 $a23-03-24 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/135641 $XH lok: 51652714 25 exp: 51652714 25 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-03-24 $t22:58:08.193 201C/01 $023-03-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01258692333 208@/01 $a23-03-24 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/135641 $XH lok: 51652714 36 exp: 51652714 36 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-03-24 $t22:58:08.196 201C/01 $023-03-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01258692341 208@/01 $a23-03-24 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/135641 $XH lok: 51652714 107 exp: 51652714 107 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-03-24 $t22:58:08.206 201C/01 $023-03-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01258692384 208@/01 $a23-03-24 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/135641 $XH lok: 51652714 108 exp: 51652714 108 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-03-24 $t22:58:08.208 201C/01 $023-03-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01258692392 208@/01 $a23-03-24 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/135641 $XH lok: 51652714 204 exp: 51652714 204 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-03-24 $t22:58:08.210 201C/01 $023-03-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01258692406 208@/01 $a23-03-24 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/135641 $XH lok: 51652714 205 exp: 51652714 205 1 #EPN 201B/01 $023-03-24 $t22:58:08.214 201C/01 $023-03-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01258692414 208@/01 $a23-03-24 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/135641 $XH
