Yet with the appearance of pseudo-concepts such as 'post-truth' after an equally imaginary 'death of History', the logic of the 'post', itself always already under questioning, may appear to have outlived its usefulness. How to make sense of postcolonial theory in Europe in the present? One way might be to renew its significance as world conflicts have entered a new 'post-imperial phase' with the return of ideologies of empire in various parts of the world. The essays in this volume address those questions at both a conceptual, theoretical level, and through the analysis of specific case studies. In the Introduction Paulo de Medeiros and Sandra Ponzanesi review the main questions outlined above in relation to the current debates in the Humanities from their respective disciplinary perspectives. The volume is organised in four sections, each containing four chapters. Even though all the chapters present a reflection on Postcolonial Theory and Crisis, some focus more specifically on aspects of the crisis in a global perspective such as humanitarian crisis and the role of mediatization of conflicts, to issues related to human rights, refugees, migrancy, environmental crisis to questions of memory and postmemory as well as the critique of art and utopian thought. lok: 51695201 3 exp: 51695201 3 1 #EPN 201B/01 $006-04-24 $t22:24:18.450 201C/01 $006-04-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01260900967 204P/01 $010.1515/9783111005744 $S0 208@/01 $a06-04-24 $bl lok: 51695201 5 exp: 51695201 5 1 #EPN 201B/01 $006-04-24 $t22:24:18.454 201C/01 $006-04-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01260900975 204P/01 $010.1515/9783111005744 $S0 208@/01 $a06-04-24 $bl lok: 51695201 8 exp: 51695201 8 1 #EPN 201B/01 $006-04-24 $t22:24:18.457 201C/01 $006-04-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01260900983 204P/01 $010.1515/9783111005744 $S0 208@/01 $a06-04-24 $bl lok: 51695201 10 exp: 51695201 10 1 #EPN 201B/01 $006-04-24 $t22:24:18.460 201C/01 $006-04-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01260900991 204P/01 $010.1515/9783111005744 $S0 208@/01 $a06-04-24 $bl lok: 51695201 11 exp: 51695201 11 1 #EPN 201B/01 $006-04-24 $t22:24:18.463 201C/01 $006-04-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01260901009 204P/01 $010.1515/9783111005744 $S0 208@/01 $a06-04-24 $bl lok: 51695201 20 exp: 51695201 20 1 #EPN 201B/01 $020-08-24 $t23:35:01.022 201C/01 $020-08-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01269168177 204P/01 $010.1515/9783111005744 $S0 208@/01 $a20-08-24 $bl lok: 51695201 21 exp: 51695201 21 1 #EPN 201B/01 $006-04-24 $t22:24:18.466 201C/01 $006-04-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01260901017 204P/01 $010.1515/9783111005744 $S0 208@/01 $a06-04-24 $bl lok: 51695201 23 exp: 51695201 23 1 #EPN 201B/01 $006-04-24 $t22:24:18.468 201C/01 $006-04-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01260901025 204P/01 $010.1515/9783111005744 $S0 208@/01 $a06-04-24 $bl lok: 51695201 24 exp: 51695201 24 1 #EPN 201B/01 $020-08-24 $t23:35:01.032 201C/01 $020-08-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01269168185 204P/01 $010.1515/9783111005744 $S0 208@/01 $a20-08-24 $bl lok: 51695201 25 exp: 51695201 25 1 #EPN 201B/01 $006-04-24 $t22:24:18.471 201C/01 $006-04-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01260901033 204P/01 $010.1515/9783111005744 $S0 208@/01 $a06-04-24 $bl lok: 51695201 36 exp: 51695201 36 1 #EPN 201B/01 $020-08-24 $t23:35:01.037 201C/01 $020-08-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01269168193 204P/01 $010.1515/9783111005744 $S0 208@/01 $a20-08-24 $bl lok: 51695201 49 exp: 51695201 49 1 #EPN 201B/01 $006-04-24 $t22:24:18.473 201C/01 $006-04-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01260901041 204P/01 $010.1515/9783111005744 $S0 208@/01 $a06-04-24 $bl lok: 51695201 54 exp: 51695201 54 1 #EPN 201B/01 $020-08-24 $t23:35:01.048 201C/01 $020-08-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01269168215 204P/01 $010.1515/9783111005744 $S0 208@/01 $a20-08-24 $bl lok: 51695201 107 exp: 51695201 107 1 #EPN 201B/01 $006-04-24 $t22:24:18.479 201C/01 $006-04-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01260901068 204P/01 $010.1515/9783111005744 $S0 208@/01 $a06-04-24 $bl lok: 51695201 108 exp: 51695201 108 1 #EPN 201B/01 $006-04-24 $t22:24:18.481 201C/01 $006-04-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01260901076 204P/01 $010.1515/9783111005744 $S0 208@/01 $a06-04-24 $bl lok: 51695201 204 exp: 51695201 204 1 #EPN 201B/01 $006-04-24 $t22:24:18.484 201C/01 $006-04-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01260901084 204P/01 $010.1515/9783111005744 $S0 208@/01 $a06-04-24 $bl lok: 51695201 205 exp: 51695201 205 1 #EPN 201B/01 $006-04-24 $t22:24:18.487 201C/01 $006-04-24 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01260901092 204P/01 $010.1515/9783111005744 $S0 208@/01 $a06-04-24 $bl
