Zusammenfassung: "Celemenski was born in 1904 in Warsaw. As a courier of the Bund during the war, he traveled to Kraków, Piotrków, Zaglębie district, Międzyrzec, and many other places in Poland. Between 1942-44 he lived on the "Aryan side" of Warsaw with false identity papers. He had good contacts with the underground Polish Workers Party and the AK (Polish Home Army). He also took part in the preparations for the Warsaw ghetto uprising. In fall 1944, Celemenski was arrested by the Nazis as a Polish participant in the Warsaw uprising, and sent to Auschwitz. From there he was transported to Mauthausen, where he was liberated in May 1945." -- Bibliography of the Vidal Sassoon International Center for the Study of Antisemitism - The Hebrew University of Jerusalem
