In contrast, the public sphere is understood as a secular and rational place where religious influence must be curtailed. In this binary perspective, Islam is viewed as misunderstanding the nature of religion and the secular because it seeks to enter the public space and does not properly accept the separation of religion and state. By contrast, Europe is associated with political secularism and it is presumed to be both secular and Judeo-Christian. This leaves other religious traditions, especially Islam and Muslims, as outside the dominant vision of Europe. The book brings authors together who share a vision of Europe beyond these binaries. It shows paths to a fruitful encounter of religion and secularities in Europe on the one hand and of Judaism, Christianity and Islam on the other. lok: 52730773 3 exp: 52730773 3 1 #EPN 201B/01 $011-02-25 $t22:48:48.753 201C/01 $011-02-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01292294655 208@/01 $a11-02-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783657791552 $XH lok: 52730773 5 exp: 52730773 5 1 #EPN 201B/01 $011-02-25 $t22:48:48.757 201C/01 $011-02-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01292294663 208@/01 $a11-02-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783657791552 $XH lok: 52730773 6 exp: 52730773 6 1 #EPN 201B/01 $022-02-25 $t22:14:23.088 201C/01 $022-02-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01294049526 208@/01 $a22-02-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783657791552 $XH lok: 52730773 8 exp: 52730773 8 1 #EPN 201B/01 $011-02-25 $t22:48:48.760 201C/01 $011-02-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01292294671 208@/01 $a11-02-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783657791552 $XH lok: 52730773 10 exp: 52730773 10 1 #EPN 201B/01 $011-02-25 $t22:48:48.762 201C/01 $011-02-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0129229468X 208@/01 $a11-02-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783657791552 $XH lok: 52730773 11 exp: 52730773 11 1 #EPN 201B/01 $022-02-25 $t22:14:23.092 201C/01 $022-02-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01294049534 208@/01 $a22-02-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783657791552 $XH lok: 52730773 13 exp: 52730773 13 1 #EPN 201B/01 $022-02-25 $t22:14:23.096 201C/01 $022-02-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01294049542 208@/01 $a22-02-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783657791552 $XH lok: 52730773 20 exp: 52730773 20 1 #EPN 201B/01 $022-02-25 $t22:14:23.099 201C/01 $022-02-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01294049550 208@/01 $a22-02-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783657791552 $XH lok: 52730773 21 exp: 52730773 21 1 #EPN 201B/01 $011-02-25 $t22:48:48.765 201C/01 $011-02-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01292294698 208@/01 $a11-02-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783657791552 $XH lok: 52730773 23 exp: 52730773 23 1 #EPN 201B/01 $011-02-25 $t22:48:48.767 201C/01 $011-02-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01292294701 208@/01 $a11-02-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783657791552 $XH lok: 52730773 24 exp: 52730773 24 1 #EPN 201B/01 $022-02-25 $t22:14:23.101 201C/01 $022-02-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01294049569 208@/01 $a22-02-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783657791552 $XH lok: 52730773 25 exp: 52730773 25 1 #EPN 201B/01 $011-02-25 $t22:48:48.770 201C/01 $011-02-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0129229471X 208@/01 $a11-02-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783657791552 $XH lok: 52730773 36 exp: 52730773 36 1 #EPN 201B/01 $022-02-25 $t22:14:23.104 201C/01 $022-02-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01294049577 208@/01 $a22-02-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783657791552 $XH lok: 52730773 49 exp: 52730773 49 1 #EPN 201B/01 $022-02-25 $t22:14:23.106 201C/01 $022-02-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01294049585 208@/01 $a22-02-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783657791552 $XH lok: 52730773 54 exp: 52730773 54 1 #EPN 201B/01 $022-02-25 $t22:14:23.111 201C/01 $022-02-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01294049607 208@/01 $a22-02-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783657791552 $XH lok: 52730773 69 exp: 52730773 69 1 #EPN 201B/01 $022-02-25 $t22:14:23.116 201C/01 $022-02-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01294049623 208@/01 $a22-02-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783657791552 $XH lok: 52730773 76 exp: 52730773 76 1 #EPN 201B/01 $022-02-25 $t22:14:23.119 201C/01 $022-02-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01294049631 208@/01 $a22-02-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783657791552 $XH lok: 52730773 107 exp: 52730773 107 1 #EPN 201B/01 $022-02-25 $t22:14:23.122 201C/01 $022-02-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0129404964X 208@/01 $a22-02-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783657791552 $XH lok: 52730773 108 exp: 52730773 108 1 #EPN 201B/01 $022-02-25 $t22:14:23.124 201C/01 $022-02-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01294049658 208@/01 $a22-02-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783657791552 $XH lok: 52730773 204 exp: 52730773 204 1 #EPN 201B/01 $011-02-25 $t22:48:48.773 201C/01 $011-02-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01292294728 208@/01 $a11-02-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783657791552 $XH lok: 52730773 205 exp: 52730773 205 1 #EPN 201B/01 $011-02-25 $t22:48:48.775 201C/01 $011-02-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01292294736 208@/01 $a11-02-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://elibrary.utb.de/doi/book/10.5555/9783657791552 $XH
