Focusing particularly on the Czech Lands, Hungary, and Slovakia, with other nations as comparative examples, this collection shows how Central Europeans viewed other regions and their populations, from the Balkans and the Middle East to Africa, China, and America. Although the societies under Habsburg rule found themselves (with rare exceptions) outside the realm of colonialism, their inhabitants also engaged in colonial projects and benefited from these interactions. Rather than taking one "Central European" approach, the volume draws upon accounts not only by writers and travelers, but by painters, missionaries, and other observers, reflecting the diversity that characterized both the region itself and its views of non-Western cultures. lok: 53081213 3 exp: 53081213 3 1 #EPN 201B/01 $026-06-25 $t23:00:40.054 201C/01 $026-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01307506453 208@/01 $a26-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/57705 $XR lok: 53081213 5 exp: 53081213 5 1 #EPN 201B/01 $026-06-25 $t23:00:40.058 201C/01 $026-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01307506461 208@/01 $a26-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/57705 $XR lok: 53081213 8 exp: 53081213 8 1 #EPN 201B/01 $026-06-25 $t23:00:40.061 201C/01 $026-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0130750647X 208@/01 $a26-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/57705 $XR lok: 53081213 10 exp: 53081213 10 1 #EPN 201B/01 $026-06-25 $t23:00:40.064 201C/01 $026-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01307506488 208@/01 $a26-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/57705 $XR lok: 53081213 11 exp: 53081213 11 1 #EPN 201B/01 $030-06-25 $t01:21:35.909 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310252084 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/57705 $XR lok: 53081213 13 exp: 53081213 13 1 #EPN 201B/01 $030-06-25 $t01:21:35.913 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310252092 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/57705 $XR lok: 53081213 21 exp: 53081213 21 1 #EPN 201B/01 $026-06-25 $t23:00:40.066 201C/01 $026-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01307506496 208@/01 $a26-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/57705 $XR lok: 53081213 23 exp: 53081213 23 1 #EPN 201B/01 $026-06-25 $t23:00:40.069 201C/01 $026-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0130750650X 208@/01 $a26-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/57705 $XR lok: 53081213 24 exp: 53081213 24 1 #EPN 201B/01 $030-06-25 $t01:21:35.934 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310252106 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/57705 $XR lok: 53081213 25 exp: 53081213 25 1 #EPN 201B/01 $026-06-25 $t23:00:40.072 201C/01 $026-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01307506518 208@/01 $a26-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/57705 $XR lok: 53081213 36 exp: 53081213 36 1 #EPN 201B/01 $030-06-25 $t01:21:35.937 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310252114 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/57705 $XR lok: 53081213 51 exp: 53081213 51 1 #EPN 201B/01 $030-06-25 $t01:21:35.940 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310252122 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/57705 $XR lok: 53081213 74 exp: 53081213 74 1 #EPN 201B/01 $030-06-25 $t01:21:35.942 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310252130 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/57705 $XR lok: 53081213 75 exp: 53081213 75 1 #EPN 201B/01 $030-06-25 $t01:21:35.945 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310252149 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/57705 $XR lok: 53081213 107 exp: 53081213 107 1 #EPN 201B/01 $030-06-25 $t01:21:35.948 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310252157 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/57705 $XR lok: 53081213 204 exp: 53081213 204 1 #EPN 201B/01 $026-06-25 $t23:00:40.075 201C/01 $026-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01307506526 208@/01 $a26-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/57705 $XR lok: 53081213 205 exp: 53081213 205 1 #EPN 201B/01 $026-06-25 $t23:00:40.077 201C/01 $026-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01307506534 208@/01 $a26-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/57705 $XR
