Individual statue schemes were handed down over centuries in ever new versions and integrated into different material, spatial and functional contexts. These processes of reception and transformation can be understood as cultural appropriations that were aesthetically, politically and/or religiously motivated. As a rule, they presupposed education and thus also had a social component. Often, however, purely practical reasons such as the availability of a certain form led to the reproduction of anthropomorphic figures according to a scheme. In the process, the pictorial works could preserve the former contexts of meaning of their models, only partially adopt them or ignore them and 'overwrite' them with completely new meanings. This volume, which is the result of an international conference in Tübingen, brings together contributions that discuss the above-mentioned processes of reception in individual centres and regions of the Roman Empire. lok: 53082532 3 exp: 53082532 3 1 #EPN 201B/01 $026-06-25 $t23:46:25.473 201C/01 $026-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01307624804 208@/01 $a26-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/96845 $XR lok: 53082532 5 exp: 53082532 5 1 #EPN 201B/01 $026-06-25 $t23:46:25.477 201C/01 $026-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01307624812 208@/01 $a26-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/96845 $XR lok: 53082532 8 exp: 53082532 8 1 #EPN 201B/01 $026-06-25 $t23:46:25.480 201C/01 $026-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01307624820 208@/01 $a26-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/96845 $XR lok: 53082532 10 exp: 53082532 10 1 #EPN 201B/01 $026-06-25 $t23:46:25.483 201C/01 $026-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01307624839 208@/01 $a26-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/96845 $XR lok: 53082532 11 exp: 53082532 11 1 #EPN 201B/01 $030-06-25 $t21:46:34.781 201C/01 $030-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310299714 208@/01 $a30-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/96845 $XR lok: 53082532 13 exp: 53082532 13 1 #EPN 201B/01 $030-06-25 $t21:46:34.786 201C/01 $030-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310299722 208@/01 $a30-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/96845 $XR lok: 53082532 21 exp: 53082532 21 1 #EPN 201B/01 $026-06-25 $t23:46:25.485 201C/01 $026-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01307624847 208@/01 $a26-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/96845 $XR lok: 53082532 23 exp: 53082532 23 1 #EPN 201B/01 $026-06-25 $t23:46:25.489 201C/01 $026-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01307624855 208@/01 $a26-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/96845 $XR lok: 53082532 24 exp: 53082532 24 1 #EPN 201B/01 $030-06-25 $t21:46:34.789 201C/01 $030-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310299730 208@/01 $a30-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/96845 $XR lok: 53082532 25 exp: 53082532 25 1 #EPN 201B/01 $026-06-25 $t23:46:25.492 201C/01 $026-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01307624863 208@/01 $a26-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/96845 $XR lok: 53082532 36 exp: 53082532 36 1 #EPN 201B/01 $030-06-25 $t21:46:34.794 201C/01 $030-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310299749 208@/01 $a30-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/96845 $XR lok: 53082532 51 exp: 53082532 51 1 #EPN 201B/01 $030-06-25 $t21:46:34.796 201C/01 $030-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310299757 208@/01 $a30-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/96845 $XR lok: 53082532 54 exp: 53082532 54 1 #EPN 201B/01 $030-06-25 $t21:46:34.798 201C/01 $030-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310299765 208@/01 $a30-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/96845 $XR lok: 53082532 71 exp: 53082532 71 1 #EPN 201B/01 $030-06-25 $t21:46:34.802 201C/01 $030-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310299773 208@/01 $a30-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/96845 $XR lok: 53082532 75 exp: 53082532 75 1 #EPN 201B/01 $030-06-25 $t21:46:34.805 201C/01 $030-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310299781 208@/01 $a30-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/96845 $XR lok: 53082532 107 exp: 53082532 107 1 #EPN 201B/01 $030-06-25 $t21:46:34.808 201C/01 $030-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0131029979X 208@/01 $a30-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/96845 $XR lok: 53082532 204 exp: 53082532 204 1 #EPN 201B/01 $026-06-25 $t23:46:25.495 201C/01 $026-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01307624871 208@/01 $a26-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/96845 $XR lok: 53082532 205 exp: 53082532 205 1 #EPN 201B/01 $026-06-25 $t23:46:25.497 201C/01 $026-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0130762488X 208@/01 $a26-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/96845 $XR
