It will be shown that the analysis of the architectural and acoustic conditions of performance and reception of symphonic music contribute to the understanding of the social and cultural conditions of the time. The specific preconditions as well as apparent references to European or American prototypes regarding the performance venues will be identified. This survey intends to document all venues that have been used for symphonic concerts before 1945 in Tokyo, regarding their form, size, capacity and acoustics. For the investigation of the acoustic conditions, a set of room acoustic parameters are employed. Since most of the relevant rooms do not exist anymore in their original condition, CAD models are generated as input for a room acoustics simulation software to derive the room acoustic parameters for the unoccupied and the occupied cases. The size of the orchestras are investigated based on historical sources to describe the relationship of sound source, enclosure and audience. lok: 53090273 3 exp: 53090273 3 1 #EPN 201B/01 $028-06-25 $t06:41:14.067 201C/01 $028-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01308333730 208@/01 $a28-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58477 $XR lok: 53090273 5 exp: 53090273 5 1 #EPN 201B/01 $028-06-25 $t06:41:14.070 201C/01 $028-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01308333749 208@/01 $a28-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58477 $XR lok: 53090273 8 exp: 53090273 8 1 #EPN 201B/01 $028-06-25 $t06:41:14.073 201C/01 $028-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01308333757 208@/01 $a28-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58477 $XR lok: 53090273 10 exp: 53090273 10 1 #EPN 201B/01 $028-06-25 $t06:41:14.076 201C/01 $028-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01308333765 208@/01 $a28-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58477 $XR lok: 53090273 11 exp: 53090273 11 1 #EPN 201B/01 $001-07-25 $t01:00:39.294 201C/01 $030-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310482306 208@/01 $a30-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58477 $XR lok: 53090273 13 exp: 53090273 13 1 #EPN 201B/01 $001-07-25 $t01:00:39.296 201C/01 $030-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310482314 208@/01 $a30-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58477 $XR lok: 53090273 21 exp: 53090273 21 1 #EPN 201B/01 $028-06-25 $t06:41:14.078 201C/01 $028-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01308333773 208@/01 $a28-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58477 $XR lok: 53090273 23 exp: 53090273 23 1 #EPN 201B/01 $028-06-25 $t06:41:14.081 201C/01 $028-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01308333781 208@/01 $a28-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58477 $XR lok: 53090273 24 exp: 53090273 24 1 #EPN 201B/01 $001-07-25 $t01:00:39.300 201C/01 $030-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310482322 208@/01 $a30-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58477 $XR lok: 53090273 25 exp: 53090273 25 1 #EPN 201B/01 $028-06-25 $t06:41:14.083 201C/01 $028-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0130833379X 208@/01 $a28-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58477 $XR lok: 53090273 51 exp: 53090273 51 1 #EPN 201B/01 $001-07-25 $t01:00:39.304 201C/01 $030-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310482330 208@/01 $a30-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58477 $XR lok: 53090273 76 exp: 53090273 76 1 #EPN 201B/01 $001-07-25 $t01:00:39.308 201C/01 $030-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310482349 208@/01 $a30-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58477 $XR lok: 53090273 77 exp: 53090273 77 1 #EPN 201B/01 $016-07-25 $t21:53:04.357 201C/01 $016-07-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01314071718 208@/01 $a16-07-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58477 $XR lok: 53090273 107 exp: 53090273 107 1 #EPN 201B/01 $001-07-25 $t01:00:39.315 201C/01 $030-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310482365 208@/01 $a30-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58477 $XR lok: 53090273 204 exp: 53090273 204 1 #EPN 201B/01 $028-06-25 $t06:41:14.085 201C/01 $028-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01308333803 208@/01 $a28-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58477 $XR lok: 53090273 205 exp: 53090273 205 1 #EPN 201B/01 $028-06-25 $t06:41:14.088 201C/01 $028-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01308333811 208@/01 $a28-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58477 $XR
