The historical processes had led to interwoven but distinct cultural spheres `on the border.' Our interdisciplinary collection of essays follows several borderlines: Teresa Dalecka (University of Vilnius) discusses the Polish literature in Lithuania since 1990 and the environment that created it. Stephan Kessler (University of Greifswald) sketches a framework of narration and applies it to a story written by Maks Fraj who lives in Lithuania but is from Odessa by origin. Anna Stankeviča, Inna Dvorecka, and Jekaterina Gusakova (each from the University of Daugavpils) give an overview of Latvia's Russophone book market and analyse Vadim Vernik's formula fiction. Sergei Kruk (Stradiņš University in Rīga) discusses the Latvian concept of linguistic integration that roots in the romantic notions of social homogeneity and language as being a shibboleth for successful integration. Nicole Nau (University of Poznań) highlights four techniques for the integration of Slavic verbs and verbal derivational affixes into Latgalian, based on material from the 19th to the 21st century. Anastasija Kostiučenko (University of Greifswald), investigates how the concept of hybridity can be used to describe and better understand the language area and identity issues in Southeast Lithuania. lok: 53100215 3 exp: 53100215 3 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t06:41:13.891 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0130938293X 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58483 $XR lok: 53100215 5 exp: 53100215 5 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t06:41:13.893 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01309382948 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58483 $XR lok: 53100215 8 exp: 53100215 8 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t06:41:13.897 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01309382956 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58483 $XR lok: 53100215 11 exp: 53100215 11 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t06:41:13.899 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01309382964 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58483 $XR lok: 53100215 21 exp: 53100215 21 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t06:41:13.902 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01309382972 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58483 $XR lok: 53100215 23 exp: 53100215 23 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t06:41:13.904 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01309382980 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58483 $XR lok: 53100215 24 exp: 53100215 24 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t06:41:13.906 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01309382999 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58483 $XR lok: 53100215 25 exp: 53100215 25 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t06:41:13.909 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01309383006 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58483 $XR lok: 53100215 49 exp: 53100215 49 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t06:41:13.911 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01309383014 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58483 $XR lok: 53100215 204 exp: 53100215 204 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t06:41:13.913 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01309383022 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58483 $XR lok: 53100215 205 exp: 53100215 205 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t06:41:13.916 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01309383030 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/58483 $XR
