By bringing together representations of the then already familiar Ottoman Empire and the largely unknown South Pacific, Sascha Klement adopts a uniquely global perspective and demonstrates how cross-cultural encounters were framed by Enlightenment philosophy, global interconnections, and even-handed exchanges across cultural divides. In so doing, this book shows that both travel and travel-writing from the seventeenth to the nineteenth centuries were much more complex and multi-layered than reductive Eurocentric histories often suggest. lok: 53107147 3 exp: 53107147 3 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t22:48:02.994 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310130590 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/88530 $XR lok: 53107147 5 exp: 53107147 5 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t22:48:02.997 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310130604 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/88530 $XR lok: 53107147 8 exp: 53107147 8 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t22:48:03.001 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310130612 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/88530 $XR lok: 53107147 10 exp: 53107147 10 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t22:48:03.003 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310130620 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/88530 $XR lok: 53107147 11 exp: 53107147 11 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t22:48:03.006 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310130639 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/88530 $XR lok: 53107147 21 exp: 53107147 21 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t22:48:03.009 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310130647 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/88530 $XR lok: 53107147 23 exp: 53107147 23 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t22:48:03.012 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310130655 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/88530 $XR lok: 53107147 24 exp: 53107147 24 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t22:48:03.015 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310130663 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/88530 $XR lok: 53107147 25 exp: 53107147 25 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t22:48:03.017 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310130671 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/88530 $XR lok: 53107147 36 exp: 53107147 36 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t22:48:03.019 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0131013068X 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/88530 $XR lok: 53107147 72 exp: 53107147 72 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t22:48:03.022 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310130698 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/88530 $XR lok: 53107147 107 exp: 53107147 107 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t22:48:03.024 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310130701 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/88530 $XR lok: 53107147 108 exp: 53107147 108 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t22:48:03.027 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0131013071X 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/88530 $XR lok: 53107147 204 exp: 53107147 204 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t22:48:03.029 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310130728 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/88530 $XR lok: 53107147 205 exp: 53107147 205 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t22:48:03.031 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310130736 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/88530 $XR
