Undeniably, data from the European Parliament (EP) offer a great opportunity for such research. Not only does the institution provide a sizeable sample of oral debates held at the EP together with their simultaneous interpretations into all languages of the European Union. It also makes available written verbatim reports of the original speeches, which used to be translated. From a methodological perspective, EP materials thus guarantee a great degree of homogeneity, which is particularly valuable in corpus studies, where data comparability is frequently a challenge. In this volume, progress is visible in both CBIS and CBTS. In interpreting, it manifests itself notably in the availability of comprehensive transcription, annotation and alignment systems. In translation, datasets are becoming substantially richer in metadata, which allow for increasingly refined multi-factorial analysis. At the crossroads between the two fields, intermodal investigations bring to the fore what these mediation modes have in common and how they differ. The volume is thus aimed in particular at Interpreting and Translation scholars looking for new descriptive insights and methodological approaches in the investigation of mediated discourse, but it may be also of interest for (corpus) linguists analysing parliamentary discourse in general. lok: 53107952 3 exp: 53107952 3 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t23:23:27.015 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310217025 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/61707 $XR lok: 53107952 5 exp: 53107952 5 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t23:23:27.018 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310217033 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/61707 $XR lok: 53107952 8 exp: 53107952 8 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t23:23:27.021 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310217041 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/61707 $XR lok: 53107952 10 exp: 53107952 10 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t23:23:27.023 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0131021705X 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/61707 $XR lok: 53107952 11 exp: 53107952 11 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t23:23:27.026 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310217068 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/61707 $XR lok: 53107952 20 exp: 53107952 20 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t23:23:27.029 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310217076 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/61707 $XR lok: 53107952 21 exp: 53107952 21 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t23:23:27.035 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310217084 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/61707 $XR lok: 53107952 23 exp: 53107952 23 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t23:23:27.038 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310217092 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/61707 $XR lok: 53107952 24 exp: 53107952 24 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t23:23:27.040 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310217106 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/61707 $XR lok: 53107952 25 exp: 53107952 25 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t23:23:27.043 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310217114 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/61707 $XR lok: 53107952 36 exp: 53107952 36 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t23:23:27.045 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310217122 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/61707 $XR lok: 53107952 49 exp: 53107952 49 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t23:23:27.048 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310217130 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/61707 $XR lok: 53107952 54 exp: 53107952 54 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t23:23:27.050 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310217149 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/61707 $XR lok: 53107952 107 exp: 53107952 107 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t23:23:27.053 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310217157 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/61707 $XR lok: 53107952 108 exp: 53107952 108 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t23:23:27.056 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310217165 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/61707 $XR lok: 53107952 204 exp: 53107952 204 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t23:23:27.058 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310217173 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/61707 $XR lok: 53107952 205 exp: 53107952 205 1 #EPN 201B/01 $029-06-25 $t23:23:27.061 201C/01 $029-06-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01310217181 208@/01 $a29-06-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://library.oapen.org/handle/20.500.12657/61707 $XR
