The war has sparked intense debates on a wide array of questions as well as on its global consequences and backlashes. At least academic discourses were in various degrees dominated by researchers with a non-Ukrainian background. This book, going back to a symposium held in Vienna in early 2023, gives a voice to early-career researchers from Ukraine, which have been affected by the war in myriad ways – to say the least. The academic contributions focus mainly on churches, religious institutions, beliefs and practices. They cover a wide array of topics, be they historical perspectives, diverse religious affiliations, the use of symbols in the war, ethnic groups, the voice of religious leaders and the role of Europe. The articles reveal the complexity of the conditions under which the war came about and the depth of the impact that the war will have on Ukraine, its neighboring countries and the whole of Europe. Included is also a lecture by Olexandra Matviichuk, human rights defender and director of the Centre for Civil Liberties, which was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2022 lok: 53204080 3 exp: 53204080 3 1 #EPN 201B/01 $001-08-25 $t08:46:27.170 201C/01 $001-08-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01314865307 208@/01 $a01-08-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://doi.org/10.17438/978-3-402-25097-6 $XH lok: 53204080 5 exp: 53204080 5 1 #EPN 201B/01 $001-08-25 $t08:46:27.187 201C/01 $001-08-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01314865315 208@/01 $a01-08-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://doi.org/10.17438/978-3-402-25097-6 $XH lok: 53204080 6 exp: 53204080 6 1 #EPN 201B/01 $002-08-25 $t21:14:45.080 201C/01 $002-08-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01315009390 208@/01 $a02-08-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://doi.org/10.17438/978-3-402-25097-6 $XH lok: 53204080 8 exp: 53204080 8 1 #EPN 201B/01 $001-08-25 $t08:46:27.191 201C/01 $001-08-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01314865323 208@/01 $a01-08-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://doi.org/10.17438/978-3-402-25097-6 $XH lok: 53204080 10 exp: 53204080 10 1 #EPN 201B/01 $001-08-25 $t08:46:27.201 201C/01 $001-08-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01314865331 208@/01 $a01-08-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://doi.org/10.17438/978-3-402-25097-6 $XH lok: 53204080 11 exp: 53204080 11 1 #EPN 201B/01 $001-08-25 $t08:46:27.205 201C/01 $001-08-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0131486534X 208@/01 $a01-08-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://doi.org/10.17438/978-3-402-25097-6 $XH lok: 53204080 13 exp: 53204080 13 1 #EPN 201B/01 $001-08-25 $t08:46:27.208 201C/01 $001-08-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01314865358 208@/01 $a01-08-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://doi.org/10.17438/978-3-402-25097-6 $XH lok: 53204080 21 exp: 53204080 21 1 #EPN 201B/01 $001-08-25 $t08:46:27.211 201C/01 $001-08-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01314865366 208@/01 $a01-08-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://doi.org/10.17438/978-3-402-25097-6 $XH lok: 53204080 23 exp: 53204080 23 1 #EPN 201B/01 $001-08-25 $t08:46:27.214 201C/01 $001-08-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01314865374 208@/01 $a01-08-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://doi.org/10.17438/978-3-402-25097-6 $XH lok: 53204080 24 exp: 53204080 24 1 #EPN 201B/01 $001-08-25 $t08:46:27.217 201C/01 $001-08-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01314865382 208@/01 $a01-08-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://doi.org/10.17438/978-3-402-25097-6 $XH lok: 53204080 25 exp: 53204080 25 1 #EPN 201B/01 $001-08-25 $t08:46:27.220 201C/01 $001-08-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01314865390 208@/01 $a01-08-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://doi.org/10.17438/978-3-402-25097-6 $XH lok: 53204080 36 exp: 53204080 36 1 #EPN 201B/01 $001-08-25 $t08:46:27.222 201C/01 $001-08-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01314865404 208@/01 $a01-08-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://doi.org/10.17438/978-3-402-25097-6 $XH lok: 53204080 51 exp: 53204080 51 1 #EPN 201B/01 $001-08-25 $t08:46:27.225 201C/01 $001-08-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01314865412 208@/01 $a01-08-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://doi.org/10.17438/978-3-402-25097-6 $XH lok: 53204080 54 exp: 53204080 54 1 #EPN 201B/01 $002-08-25 $t21:14:45.085 201C/01 $002-08-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01315009404 208@/01 $a02-08-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://doi.org/10.17438/978-3-402-25097-6 $XH lok: 53204080 59 exp: 53204080 59 1 #EPN 201B/01 $001-08-25 $t08:46:27.228 201C/01 $001-08-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01314865420 208@/01 $a01-08-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://doi.org/10.17438/978-3-402-25097-6 $XH lok: 53204080 69 exp: 53204080 69 1 #EPN 201B/01 $002-08-25 $t21:14:45.112 201C/01 $002-08-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01315009412 208@/01 $a02-08-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://doi.org/10.17438/978-3-402-25097-6 $XH lok: 53204080 75 exp: 53204080 75 1 #EPN 201B/01 $001-08-25 $t08:46:27.230 201C/01 $001-08-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01314865439 208@/01 $a01-08-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://doi.org/10.17438/978-3-402-25097-6 $XH lok: 53204080 76 exp: 53204080 76 1 #EPN 201B/01 $002-08-25 $t21:14:45.115 201C/01 $002-08-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01315009420 208@/01 $a02-08-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://doi.org/10.17438/978-3-402-25097-6 $XH lok: 53204080 107 exp: 53204080 107 1 #EPN 201B/01 $001-08-25 $t08:46:27.234 201C/01 $001-08-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01314865447 208@/01 $a01-08-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://doi.org/10.17438/978-3-402-25097-6 $XH lok: 53204080 108 exp: 53204080 108 1 #EPN 201B/01 $001-08-25 $t08:46:27.236 201C/01 $001-08-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01314865455 208@/01 $a01-08-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://doi.org/10.17438/978-3-402-25097-6 $XH lok: 53204080 204 exp: 53204080 204 1 #EPN 201B/01 $001-08-25 $t08:46:27.239 201C/01 $001-08-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01314865463 208@/01 $a01-08-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://doi.org/10.17438/978-3-402-25097-6 $XH lok: 53204080 205 exp: 53204080 205 1 #EPN 201B/01 $001-08-25 $t08:46:27.242 201C/01 $001-08-25 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01314865471 208@/01 $a01-08-25 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://doi.org/10.17438/978-3-402-25097-6 $XH
