By bringing together representations of the then already familiar Ottoman Empire and the largely unknown South Pacific, Sascha Klement adopts a uniquely global perspective and demonstrates how cross-cultural encounters were framed by Enlightenment philosophy, global interconnections, and even-handed exchanges across cultural divides. In so doing, this book shows that both travel and travel-writing from the seventeenth to the nineteenth centuries were much more complex and multi-layered than reductive Eurocentric histories often suggest. lok: 54253395 3 exp: 54253395 3 1 #EPN 201B/01 $002-03-26 $t23:52:02.834 201C/01 $002-03-26 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0133592342X 208@/01 $a02-03-26 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.inlibra.com/?doi=10.14361/9783839455838 $XR lok: 54253395 5 exp: 54253395 5 1 #EPN 201B/01 $002-03-26 $t23:52:02.836 201C/01 $002-03-26 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01335923438 208@/01 $a02-03-26 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.inlibra.com/?doi=10.14361/9783839455838 $XR lok: 54253395 8 exp: 54253395 8 1 #EPN 201B/01 $002-03-26 $t23:52:02.839 201C/01 $002-03-26 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01335923446 208@/01 $a02-03-26 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.inlibra.com/?doi=10.14361/9783839455838 $XR lok: 54253395 10 exp: 54253395 10 1 #EPN 201B/01 $002-03-26 $t23:52:02.842 201C/01 $002-03-26 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01335923454 208@/01 $a02-03-26 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.inlibra.com/?doi=10.14361/9783839455838 $XR lok: 54253395 11 exp: 54253395 11 1 #EPN 201B/01 $008-03-26 $t00:59:01.844 201C/01 $007-03-26 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01337145947 208@/01 $a07-03-26 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.inlibra.com/?doi=10.14361/9783839455838 $XR lok: 54253395 21 exp: 54253395 21 1 #EPN 201B/01 $002-03-26 $t23:52:02.845 201C/01 $002-03-26 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01335923462 208@/01 $a02-03-26 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.inlibra.com/?doi=10.14361/9783839455838 $XR lok: 54253395 23 exp: 54253395 23 1 #EPN 201B/01 $002-03-26 $t23:52:02.847 201C/01 $002-03-26 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01335923470 208@/01 $a02-03-26 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.inlibra.com/?doi=10.14361/9783839455838 $XR lok: 54253395 24 exp: 54253395 24 1 #EPN 201B/01 $008-03-26 $t00:59:01.847 201C/01 $007-03-26 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01337145955 208@/01 $a07-03-26 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.inlibra.com/?doi=10.14361/9783839455838 $XR lok: 54253395 25 exp: 54253395 25 1 #EPN 201B/01 $002-03-26 $t23:52:02.850 201C/01 $002-03-26 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01335923489 208@/01 $a02-03-26 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.inlibra.com/?doi=10.14361/9783839455838 $XR lok: 54253395 36 exp: 54253395 36 1 #EPN 201B/01 $008-03-26 $t00:59:01.851 201C/01 $007-03-26 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01337145963 208@/01 $a07-03-26 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.inlibra.com/?doi=10.14361/9783839455838 $XR lok: 54253395 107 exp: 54253395 107 1 #EPN 201B/01 $008-03-26 $t00:59:01.854 201C/01 $007-03-26 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01337145971 208@/01 $a07-03-26 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.inlibra.com/?doi=10.14361/9783839455838 $XR lok: 54253395 108 exp: 54253395 108 1 #EPN 201B/01 $008-03-26 $t00:59:01.857 201C/01 $007-03-26 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $0133714598X 208@/01 $a07-03-26 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.inlibra.com/?doi=10.14361/9783839455838 $XR lok: 54253395 204 exp: 54253395 204 1 #EPN 201B/01 $002-03-26 $t23:52:02.853 201C/01 $002-03-26 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01335923497 208@/01 $a02-03-26 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.inlibra.com/?doi=10.14361/9783839455838 $XR lok: 54253395 205 exp: 54253395 205 1 #EPN 201B/01 $002-03-26 $t23:52:02.856 201C/01 $002-03-26 201U/01 $0utf8 203@/01 $01335923500 208@/01 $a02-03-26 $bl 209S/01 $S0 $uhttps://www.inlibra.com/?doi=10.14361/9783839455838 $XR
